Terms of service

By creating an account or using MenuPublish, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don’t share them. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of the menus, photos, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the service (parsing, publishing, syndicating to your website, etc.).

You represent that you have the right to upload everything you upload — i.e. you own the menu, or you’re authorized by the restaurant to upload it on their behalf.

Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Refunds are handled case-by-case — email us if something went wrong.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that’s illegal, infringing, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or probe the service in ways that aren’t in good faith.
  • Resell access to MenuPublish without our written agreement (agency partner programs are an exception — talk to us).
  • Submit content that’s designed to abuse, defraud, or harm other people.

SMS & MMS messaging

If you add a mobile phone number to your account, you agree to receive automated transactional SMS and MMS messages from MenuPublish at that number — verification codes, replies to inbound texts, and status notifications for menu-publishing jobs. We do not send marketing SMS.

Message frequency varies based on your inbound activity; a typical menu update triggers 2–5 outbound messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any MenuPublish message to opt out, or HELP for usage instructions. See our privacy policy for the full disclosure, including supported carriers and how we handle mobile-number data.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. See our status page.

Termination

You can cancel your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, you can export your data for 30 days; after that we’ll delete it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MenuPublish’s total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (USA). Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
