Pricing FAQ
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is permanent and lets you try the parser end-to-end — one menu, three updates per month, and a small “Menu by MenuPublish” credit link in the footer of your public menu. Upgrade any time without losing your data.
What counts as an “update”?
Every time you send us a new photo (email, SMS, web upload) and we publish a new version. Internal corrections after a publish — fixing a price, marking an item 86’d — don’t count.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your billing page. Stripe handles proration automatically; you’re billed only for the difference.
How do the Multi-Brand tiers work?
Multi-Brand tiers (used by agencies and hospitality groups alike) are in early access. Book a call and we’ll set you up by hand: a parent account, one MenuPublish account per restaurant brand, and a single sign-in that scopes you into any of them. White-label branding, billing roll-up, and self-serve brand onboarding are on the v1.2 roadmap.
Is menu translation extra?
No — translation is included on every plan, including Free, with no per-language or per-word charge. Choose your languages per location, and every publish translates the whole menu into all of them. Diners get a language switcher on the menu itself. Prices are never translated, converted, or reformatted.
Which languages can you translate into?
Any of them. Sixteen common ones are one click in the dashboard — Spanish, Chinese, French, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Arabic and more — and you can type any other language code to add it. Right-to-left scripts like Arabic and Hebrew lay out correctly without any work on your side.
Do I need a credit card to start?
Not for the Free plan. Paid plans require a card via Stripe.
